Perhaps the first thing to come up in the minds of people starting out in studying international relations is the countries - pretty obvious. One cannot discuss international relations without talking about countries as what is quite possibly the most dominant kind of actors of international relations. However, it would be very inaffective for one to discuss about individual countries, so here are some overview about all the regions in the world to help you get an idea of all things IR in each of them.
